How to do it: Place your measured rice in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under the tap, gently moving the grains with your hand, until the water runs mostly clear.

Rule #2: The Ratio

Why it's a rule: This is the foundation of the cooking process. The right amount of water ensures every grain is cooked through without turning into a mushy paste or being left hard and undercooked.

How to do it: The golden ratio for Befach Wellness Rice depends on your cooking method:

  • For Stovetop/Pot Cooking: Use a 1 : 2 ratio (1 part rice to 2 parts water).
  • For Pressure Cooker Cooking: Use a 1 : 1.25 ratio (1 part rice to 1 ¼ parts water).
